I won a radio contest last week and got to meet local radio personalities Wank & O'Brien!
I've been listening to their morning show for about 5 years now, so I was pretty excited to meet them. My prize for winning the contest was that they brought lunch for me and 20 co-workers on Monday. They ate lunch with us and hung out for about 45 minutes. After lunch I gave them a little tour of the House chamber.
To be honest, it was kind of a strange experience. I felt like I knew them and we were old pals, but obviously they didn't know me from Adam. They were very friendly and asked lots of questions about me and my job, though.

Wow, Lauren you didn't tell me about that when I was down there over the weekend. I'll bet that the office liked it very much. We enjoyed the weekend and can't wait to see you again at the shower. Let me know when the list is ready.
