Date Night #14
The first weekend of June was the annual Woodruff Place Flea Market and we had been talking about going for a few months. The weather cooperated and we spent a lovely Sunday morning strolling (literally, Morgan was in the stroller and behaved like an angel for 3 hours) through the historic Woodruff Place neighborhood and perusing the yard sales.
The market is basically a glorified neighborhood yard sale, but they go all out with food vendors and entertainment in addition to the shopping. We especially enjoyed the yummy eats (elephant ears and the best kettle corn ever) and pointing out what we liked and didn't like about the historic houses.
We scored a couple of yard sale finds, too. I got a picture frame that coordinates with one I already own, Jeff got an indoor/outdoor digital thermometer and we found a cd player for Morgan's playroom ($5! Score!).
Date Night #15

Jeff is coordinating this month and he took us bowling Saturday night. He loves bowling and I had been trying to take him when it was my turn to plan, but other stuff kept coming up. We had a nice, relaxing time and even started contemplating getting on a league together this fall.
We bowled two games. Our scores from the first game are shown above. As you can see, Jeff loves bowling because he's fairly good at it (the Coon men are all good bowlers). I was just stoked that he only beat me by 100!

Those dates sound like fun! I love the new look of the blog!
Thanks! I felt like the old design made it hard to read. This is more crisp and hopefully easier on everyone's eyes.
