Circle City Christmas 2010

We have been hosts of a two-week Christmas extravanganza here in Indianapolis! Our first visitors - Aunt Rachel and Grandma Debbie -arrived three days before Christmas, with Papa Dave arriving one day later, Aunt Rachel leaving on Christmas Eve, and Debbie and Dave leaving the day after Christmas. Then, Grandma Berta and Papa Don arrived Dec. 30 and just left this morning. Unfortunately, Aunt Jamie and Uncle Jesse both had to work, but we are looking forward to having them each come down for visits soon.

Here are some photos and highlights from Christmas 2010:

Morgan and Kadance at Breakfast w/ Santa
The third time we went to see Santa this year, Morgan finally sat on his lap! And talked to him! And gave him a snowflake she made out of foam and glitter! Our neighbor, Kadance, was just as scared as Morgan, so they sat on his lap together. And, truthfully, they only did it because they were told they couldn't have a candy cane unless they sat on his lap (even though I'm sure Santa's elves would have given them the candy canes regardless). Evil, I know.

Christmas cookies!

Morgan's new playhouse - from Patty and Joe

Measuring stuff with Papa Dave

Playing Sudoku with Grandma Debbie

Putting together her new toolbench from Grandma and Papa Campbell

Hammering on her toolbench

Helping Daddy put together his new Weber grill
And, last but not least, we had a bigfoot sighting in our living room:

Just kidding! But doesn't this look like one of those Bigfoot photos where he's walking through the forest ...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Another Christmas has come and gone but look at the wonderful memories. Morgan is so cute and it was a blast to see her last weekend until Midnight eating carrots. She was so good and is always a doll. Hugs from A. Denise
