The Perfect Age for Santa

This was the year when Christmas became magical for Morgan. She understands who Santa is and what he's all about now. She was very eager to go see Santa and didn't get scared or cry when we saw him.

Here's our 2011 Santa story:

We went to Breakfast with Santa at the Knights of Columbus with our neighbors. The chair behind the kids in this photo is where Santa would eventually be sitting. They had coloring books and crafts for the kids to do while they waited for Santa.

Lucas, Morgan and Kadance coloring while they waited for Santa.
Then, Santa arrived across the hall in the breakfast room.

Morgan making a beeline for Santa.
Morgan went over to the breakfast room and walked right up to Santa and said, "Hi." Santa said, "Hello there!" To which Morgan replied, "I want a Lalaloopsy." I laughed, and then I told Morgan to come back over to the craft room and wait for Santa. She was the first kid to sit on his lap and nearly the only kid while we were there to do it by choice.

Putting in her "official" request for a Lalaloopsy doll.

I'm happy to report that Morgan made it on the Nice List and Santa brought her a Lalaloopsy doll (with blue hair in the photo below).

I never heard of that doll...hum very cute. I'm glad she got what she wanted. She was so cute at the Dunsmore Christmas party when Santa got there. She really was into it this year and it made the other little ones like Santa too. Love the blog ...thanks for taking time to keep us in your life. Hugs from A. Denise
