Our Fall has been rather busy. Since I last blogged, we've visited the Children's Museum a few more times, raked A LOT of leaves and watched A LOT of football!
I spent almost every Saturday watching MSU Football with the local alumni club. Although we lost 5 out of 12 games, all of the loses were within a touchdown and we reached the magic number 7 wins to get into a bowl game. Not too shabby for a rebuilding year!
Our Colts are still kickin' butt, too, despite many, many injuries. We're looking forward to another exciting playoff season come January!
For Halloween this year we helped our friends Mary and Laura take their 7 children trick-or
-treating. Jeff dressed up as Zorro and all of the kids were dressed in matching bank robber outfits. So cute!! Michael, who is 2, loves Spiderman, which was a pretty popular costume this year. Every time another kid would walk by in a Spiderman costume, Michael would get excited and yell, "Mom, look! Spiderman!" It was so adorable. We've done a little traveling and entertaining this Fall, too. We went to Flint the first weekend of November for my Dad's family reunion. It was a very short trip, but it was nice to see my aunts, uncles and cousins since we're not around for many family parties these days. For Thanksgiving, Jeff's parents and Grandma came down and spent a couple days. We did a little Black Friday shopping, toured a historic home and gave Grandma a tour of the city lit up for Christmas. And, of course, we ate plenty of turkey!
