Just wanted to post a note saying I'm officially on bed rest with no travel allowed for the duration of my pregnancy. I'm not limited to lying in a bed all day, though, which is a blessing. I just have to stay off my feet and stay home.
The only bad part about this is we had to cancel our trip to MI planned for later this month. We're both bummed about it, because we were looking forward to seeing lots of friends and family over the 5 days we were going to be visiting.
Luckily, our parents and my sister have been here recently to visit. We are very grateful for their help getting things ready for Baby - especially since so much is falling on Jeff's shoulders now that my actions are limited. We also have a lot of wonderful friends here in Indianapolis who have brought over meals and come over to visit me while Jeff is at work. We are lucky to have their support, too.
I am especially grateful to have Jeff, who has been a loving and supportive husband. He has stepped up to the challenge of running the household all by himself. I'm extremely proud of him, because he is doing a fabulous job taking care of me, the dog, the house and himself. Our reward for getting through this will hopefully be a beautiful, healthy child to love!

Lauren we are going to miss you this weekend. I was so looking forward to touching that belly. You are a smart girl to listen to doctor's orders. Jeff, Way to Go, you will be a great dad and loving your wife the way you are is the first step. Love you both ..Aunt Denise
