September started off busy for us with Morgan's first visit to the statehouse. Mommy's co-workers hosted a nice cake and punch reception so they could meet her. In the picture, we are behind the podium where the Speaker of the House of Representatives stands.
Morgan is getting bigger and stronger every day. She weighs around 11 pounds right now and as you can see in the photo, she has put on a good amount of baby fat. She has gained control of her head and can follow objects with her eyes. On Labor Day, she grabbed her rattle for the first time and lifted it up once before letting go. A small feat, yes, but Mommy was very proud!

She is getting so big, it was nice to see her at the wedding. I didn't get to hold her very much. Aunt Denise and Aunt Gail had her most of the time.
Good Luck going back to work, I know it will be hard at first.
We enjoyed the wedding. You did a good job getting everyone ready to go at the park.
