Back to Work

I've been back to work for a week now and I can honestly say it feels good. I was initially unsure exactly how I was going to juggle it all - husband, baby, dog, house, work - but the transition wasn't so bad. Jeff has been incredibly supportive and we are taking turns spending time with Morgan and Joey and doing housework. Somehow, through it all, we have even carved out a few moments to spend with each other! Yay!
Morgan has been very agreeable to the new morning schedule. She even slept "through the night" (which means 6-7 hours in a row instead of 3-4) twice this week! Our neighbor, Patty, operates a daycare out of her home and that is where Morgan spends her days now. They (Patty, her son Joe and her mom Marge) LOVE taking care of Morgan and it's nice for Jeff and I to know she's with people we consider family.
Don't hesitate to leave us messages on the blog. I check it a few times a day now - mostly to look at pictures of Morgan, because I miss her during the day. Hope to hear from everyone soon!

Love, Lauren

Lauren, sounds like you have everything organized as usual. I know it must be hard but having trust in your daycare makes it all work. Just when I think I have seen the cutest picture of Morgan, then comes another one just as cute. She is adorable. I wish we all lived closer. And I didn't hog her at the wedding, the only time I held her is when I fed her. Next time I want her more!!! xo to you and Jeff and Morgan!! Aunt Denise

You and Darleen can fight amongst yourselves about who held her more! I'm staying out of that one! I wish the weather would have been nicer, because then Morgan could have come to the ceremony and everyone would have had more time with her. I'm going to get some pictures taken of her in her flower girl dress since we didn't get to do them at the wedding like we wanted. We'll make sure you all get copies.
