Date Night #2: Cheesecake

* Inspired by the Project 52 challenge at Simply Modern Mom (link on left-hand column)

Our second date was simple and lovely, just like last week. This week we baked a cheesecake together. Jeff was in charge of the recipe (choosing it and making sure we followed it) and I did most of the mixing/preparing. We made a caramel nut cheesecake and played a game of Rummy while we waited for it to bake. I have the winning record when it comes to Rummy, but this was one of the rare occasions where Jeff kicked my butt! After that, we listened to some music and even danced a slow song in the living room.

After two dates, my favorite thing about the Project 52 challenge is that it forces us to actually plan to do something on a Saturday night. So far our dates haven't been super thrilling or anything, but we also haven't slumped out in front of the TV in mindless exhaustion either (which was previously the norm).
