Talkative at Two

Two has been an incredibly talkative age for Morgan. She has been able to speak in sentences almost the entire time she has been two. Of course, they were short sentences last summer and now they are full-blown conversations. Here are a few of the things that have come out of her mouth this month:

I bought her Teddy Grahams at the grocery store. When I opened them and gave her some in the car on the way home, she said, "You're the sweetest Mommy I ever."

Jeff was driving us to our friends' house to go swimming. Morgan said something about the fact that Daddy was driving (she's always very concerned about who sits where in the car) and then said, "He's a super Daddy."

When I came home from work one day, she said, "So, where ya been?"

There was $20 sitting on the living room table. Morgan picked it up.
Morgan: "Hey, what's this?"
Jeff: "What is it?"
M: "Money."
J: "Whose money do you think it is?"
M: "It looks like Mommy's money."

We have a lamp in the living room with two pull cords. Morgan was trying to pull them to turn it on, but she wasn't pulling hard enough. When it wouldn't turn on after a couple pulls, she said, "Where's the eyeballs (lightbulbs)?" Then, after I told her to pull a little harder and she turned on the lights, she said, "All the lights are on so we can see the world."
