Aunt Jamie showed Morgan a picture of the University of Michigan football stadium on her phone.
Aunt Jamie: "This is the greatest football stadium in the world!"
Morgan: "That's where Sparty lives!"

Last night we were reading stories before bed and Morgan said she wanted a glass of water. I had seen a sippy cup with water in the fridge earlier and she can open the fridge by herself now, so I told her she could go get the cup and come right back. She came back with the cup and I started to read again. Then she took a drink, curled her eyebrows in a confused look and exclaimed, "This isn't water, it's juice!" Then her eyebrows raised up in excitement, because we don't allow juice at bedtime. Jeff and I just looked at each other (both wondering if we should let her keep it) and without missing a beat, Morgan turned back to the book and said, "Mommy, you just read."

Morgan has entered a new developmental phase this month. She has begun saying phrases such as:
"Mommy, I don't like you anymore."
"Daddy, don't look at me!"
"You're not my boss."
And so it begins ...
