Reflections on 2012

1. What was the single best thing that happened this past year?

I received a long-overdue raise, Jeff accepted a full-time position with his company and Morgan started preschool.

2. What was the single most challenging thing that happened?

Morgan started having issues with going potty that were brought on by an infection. After several long months featuring multiple trips to the doctor (and lots of "accidents"), we are finally starting to make some slow progress on the issue.

3. What was an unexpected joy this past year?

Our nephew, Gabriel, coming home from the hospital and thriving!

4. What was an unexpected obstacle?

Morgan having some separation issues when she started preschool. She's always been so easygoing that we never saw that coming.

8. What was your single biggest time waster in your life this past year?
Stuff! I call myself the CEO of Stuff, because it seems like most of my time at home is spent cleaning, organizing, finding or throwing away everyone's stuff.

9. What was the best way you used your time this past year?

Playing together as a family.
