Date Night #7
UpWords is one of my favorite board games. I will gladly play most any word game, but I played this game so much growing up that it holds sentimental value on top of being fun to play. We have not played UpWords in several years, because Jeff stopped having fun since I always won. So, I was pleasantly surprised when he wanted to play this game for our date night! The photo above is our board at the end of the game. Score: Jeff - 98. Lauren - 153.
Despite my date night victory, however, Jeff decided he was determined to beat me. We played a total of 4 times over 4 days and Jeff kicked my butt the third game (darn "Qu" tile!). Congratulations, honey!
Date Night #8
My parents came into town on Saturday afternoon. Free babysitters?!! Oh yeah!
This was Jeff's last date for April and since we could freely leave the house he decided to take us out to the movies. He chose Date Night for our date night and it was an awesome choice! We laughed hard throughout the entire movie. We liked it so much that we talked my parents into going to see it, so they are at the theater right now watching it. Seriously, go see Date Night for your own date night.

I LOVE Upwords!! I played it a lot as a kid too! Lucas is a Scrabble guy, and ALWAYS beats me at that game, but I usually hold the advantage in Upwords :)
Kim - I guess we need to bust Upwords out at the next family gathering!
