This photo was actually the last one of the day ...

... which is why Morgan is wearing a different outfit than in all of the other photos!
There was a ton of great stuff to see and do at this zoo! If you read the Millers' post, they went into many of the details about the zoo and what we saw.

The Millers at the Wheel - Will the Daddy Lion be able to feed his twin lion cubs today?

Morgan feeding lettuce to a giraffe!
Surprisingly, she asked to feed the giraffe when I figured it would scare her. At first, Morgan tried to break the lettuce into bite size pieces for the giraffe, which was rather funny. I thought it was worth the entire trip just to see this majestic animal so close.

Allie squealing in delight as she tries to feed the giraffe her snack! Oops!

Morgan's fav thing - Drums!

Even standing on a crate, she's not quite taller than an elephant!

A fun "tree house" the kids ran in and out of many times

Ryan giggling at another little boy at the treehouse
Probably the sweetest thing all day was Ryan's giggle. The other little boy was probably 5 or 6 and he kept pretending to fall down so Ryan would laugh. All of the parents (including the strangers who happened to be at the treehouse at the same time) commented on his cute giggle!

Jeff and I talked about our favorite parts of the zoo on the way home. I thought the treehouse was the best part, because the kids had so much fun in it and I totally would have loved it myself as a child. Jeff really liked the rainforest - so much so that he was the only one who realized we were in a domed building when we were walking through that section!
We absolutely hope to make this an annual trip with the Millers! We still have half the zoo to see!

You have some really great pictures! I especially love the one of Morgan on the crate that says "African Journey" It's so cool! We had so much fun and can't wait for next year!
P.S. Great job on calling the giraffe a giraffe instead of a zebra, doh!
Love the blog and love the fact that you guys live close enough to visit each other. Unlike me way up here...Good Job Lauren, i really enjoy all your adventures!! Hug Morgan for me and remind her she has an Aunt Denise who really does love her and who needs to get down and see her. I need to retire. Hugs to all.
